i live in juba/south sudan/africa. we do not have international banks operating in our town.

To apply for a credit card, you will have to go thru a bank. The bank does not have to be an international bank, however it need to have links with either VISA or Mastercard.

If you%26#039;re looking for other ways to pay for goods over the internet, try paypal (.com or .co.uk or see if there%26#039;s a more local one for you). You do not need a credit card to use it as it links in to your bank account. Not all vendor currently use paypal, however more and more companies are signing up for it as it%26#039;s easier for consumsers with out credit cards to still buy goods over the internet.

The other option is to get prepared credit cards. However I don%26#039;t think anyone offers those in Juba. You might have to be in Nairobi or Kampala to check on those options. Report It

|||you could investigate whether paypal will operate with any of your banks - try www.paypal.com and see if you can find a link to your country or one where you have bank branches available|||i know they have a few complaints but is there a PAYPAL system operating out of juba/south sudan/africa. :-)
