Why is the crime rate in England so high, even though theres social security?

I can understand in a place like South Africa where theres no housing benefit and only limited unemployment benefit. So there are people starving there. But in England its impossible to go hungry, and nearly everyone is entitled to benefits. Yet English people entitled to benefits are causing crime. Is it just greed?

What the f**k has being on benefits got to do with crime,lots of crimes are committed by murderers,paedofiles,drug dealers,you%26#039;ve shocked me I didn%26#039;t know they were all on benefits. Usually certain crimes are committed by addicts because they can%26#039;t afford to pay for their habit,but not all crimes.
