I think you said it all! The democrats plan to raise taxes is like dropping a bomb on our economy! Whats unfortunate is the ignorant belief that Bill Clinton%26#039;s economic package from 93, which is similar to the current democrats plan, gave us our great economy in the 90%26#039;s. What actually gave us our great economy was the .com boom and Silicon Valley. In 2001 when the we had the .com bust we saw the effects of Clinton%26#039;s economic package. Our economy wasn%26#039;t very resilient and we ended up in a recession. Since Bush%26#039;s economic relief package was passed in 2003 our economy has grown despite energy inflation, a huge deficit, large trade deficit and so on. If the democrats want to improve our economy they should build on what Bush has achieved not destroy it. They should turn their attention to our trade deficit which will affect the value of the Dollar, when the war ends reduce spending overall, and work toward the nation becoming energy independent! Like I said if they raise taxes it will be like a nuclear bomb on our economy because todays democrats wont have the an emerging market to help their tax and spend programs!
