Most black countries which are in Africa are ranked very low and generally have very low and poor standards of living such as low life expecatncy low literacy rate high infant mortality rate high crime rate high unemployment bad health care bad infrastructure bad education and bad housing etc but there are some black countries like Barbados which are doing very well.
In 2005 Barbados was ranked 33rd best country in the world to live in and it has a high life expectancy which is 74 for men and 78 for women and a high literacy rate of 98 percent it also has a low crime rate and low unemployment and while it is still a third world country it is much better off and is much more civilised then any other third world country.
Also just because a country is third world does not necessarily mean it%26#039;s a bad place to live and it does not necessarily mean that the majority of the population are dirt poor, there are some third world countries which are quite wealthy and developed.
Good to see a black country do well and be ranked highly?credit repair
Barbados is truly heavenly.
It was a colony of UK for many years and standards were developed for living and education for all of its residents.
It is NOT a 3rd world (developing) country. Their dollar is high and healthy, the island is clean, clean water due to wonderful springs and filtration by coral (the island is coral).
It is not part of S America. It is part of the Carribean but an independent country. The whole island is only about 450 sq. km. Its success is based on a huge tourism industry.
Been there several times.

I am packing my suitcase at once.|||I would hardly consider Barbados a third world country. They are a developed South American island nation and a major tourist attraction.
(I figured if you double-posted, I could double answer!)
