I filed a workman%26#039;s compensation claim and my employer tried to deny it. So I was put on a 90 day delay statis. After 60 days it was appoved. In the meantime the claims adjustor I had told me to apply for unemployment after I told him that I needed some money coming in to survive, I did apply and got unemployment. My question is, does workman%26#039;s compensation make up the difference in the amount of the unemployment pay rate and what I should have gotten from workman%26#039;s comp when the claim was accepted? State compensation paid the back weeks but refused to pay for the weeks I got unemployment The adjustor told me that workmam%26#039;s compensation does not pay temp. disability for the weeks you collect unemployment benefits. The diffence in the amount of money you recieved from unemployment and workman%26#039;s compesation is a huge difference. I am not looking to double dip and get monies from both, but I do think that workmen%26#039;s comp. should pay the difference in the pay amounts.

I%26#039;m pretty sure you%26#039;re screwed unless you decide to file a law suit against the workers comp people or the company that gave you incorrect information. You%26#039;d probably be able to settle it in small claims or they%26#039;d settle outta court... good luck with that though
