I have a few reasons why... I live in New York and have seen and been impacted first hand the improvements she has made to the economy in our state. She is experienced, and with the state our country is in right now, we cannot take the risk of having an inexperienced politician in office. Obama is on the right track of %26quot;change%26quot; but, his plans for military pullout from Iraq, the economy and healthcare are impossible and are far fetched wishful thinking. First, he wants to pull a huge majority of the troops out of Iraq... Well, Yes... troops do need to come home, but it needs to be done in sensible phases, not all at once or the few troops who are left behind will be in bigger danger than they are now. Secondly, his economic plan is nearly the same economic plan that was implemented in the 70%26#039;s that caused the highest rate of unemployment in history and gas wars. Third, he wants to FINE parents who show up at doctors offices and ER%26#039;s without insurance, leaving parents AFRAID to seek care
Hillary has what it takes....?
Yes.
Also, I really despise when people, and Barack say that he didn%26#039;t vote for the war. BECAUSE, he was not on pressure to vote for the war when he wasn%26#039;t even in office in 2003. It just makes me mad how people say that he didn%26#039;t vote for the war, and that%26#039;s why they like him better. You shouldn%26#039;t have a say on this when you haven%26#039;t voted on it period.
Also, same old same old in Washington... even though Clinton had many reforms in office, he still got America within hundreds of millions out of debt. Now that is not good, great, but extraordinary. Bill Clinton helped a stumbling economy, and Hillary can do the same. Barack Obama does not have any experience as leader, or have experience reforming a stumbling economy. Everyone thinks that he will be so great, but what are they banking this on? I%26#039;ll tell you what, the fact that he simply says %26quot;we need change%26quot; and that he says %26quot;we need to end this war%26quot; and how he repeatedly says that he can fix jobs and the economy. Barack doesn%26#039;t know how to manage this country simply because he does not have the 35 years to back it up. He has 2. Clinton has 1750% more experience then Barack in public office.
Hillary has what it takes....?

You are preaching to the choir, I am from New York as well and I totally agree with you.
Hillary is the preson we need.|||I really don%26#039;t give a damn about what Hillary has done.. I love Barack and I voted for him. I will vote for him again any time. Sorry, but after seeing Barack, there is just no way I would vote for Hillary. She just does not inspire me the way he does..|||She already has the job.|||She would certainly be competent. Her liability is Bill. Ironically his career (and the fame she gained because of it) is what put her in this position (presidential candidate) in the 1st place.|||Yeah, but don%26#039;t forget that her husband was the one to push for NAFTA, superhighway, NAU, etc....we have Hillary Clinton now pushing for all of those ideas... pretty soon their dream will come true.|||I am from New York also and I can attest to what you said.
HILLARY 2008!|||She might have what it takes but we will never know.|||Yes!
and to the people who said NAFTA, it was started by George Bush Sr. and Hillary did not agree with it but she had no power back then.|||You do realize their platforms are almost identical, right? So if you attack Obama%26#039;s platform, you%26#039;re not helping Hillary%26#039;s. Hillary is a great politician. She%26#039;d probably make a decent president.
I%26#039;m supporting Obama because I think he will do a better job working across the aisle, removing the influence of corporate money in Washington, and uniting our country.
As a Democrat, I support Clinton.
As an American, I support Obama.
My loyalty rests with my country long before the party that I usually vote for.|||Upstate NY has been getting whacked with Job losses.
Your analysis of Obama%26#039;s plans are inaccurate, he does advocate a phased pullout of iraq, and he wants to mandate health care for children-- hillary wants to mandate healthcare for EVERYONE (making everyone scared)
Id be happy to let you have Hillary back in NY, however i think she just used you to get to the presidency, and once she loses she%26#039;ll go away.|||I agree Hillary is what we need for this country not some inexperienced person who will run us in the ground even more than we are now.|||You got it right on the money! I think Hillary has what it takes to move this country forward back into the 21st Century!! I think she would be able to undo the damage of the Bush years.
I hope the people of this country realize exactly how lucky they we are to have someone with Hillary%26#039;s energy, drive and commitment! I sure do!|||You need to talk to your fellow New Yorkers. Many of them can%26#039;t figure out what she has done for New York. Most know what your senior senator has done though. Could you go into more detail on what Hillary has done?.
You are incorect about an immediate withdrawal plan from Obama. Nothing could be farther from the truth.
Also, please explain. How exactly is his plan like the economic plan if the 70%26#039;s?? I%26#039;d really like to hear more about that, so please add on. Thank you.|||I%26#039;m with ya sister!
She has my vote, I admit I would prefer 2 better choices, But this is what we have.
I%26#039;ve done my homework and made a decision finally.
Its all typical politics, but may the best person win, and she is the best of the two.
I live in Texas, a very important win. Hillary 2008.|||I live in NY too:) Military pullout is all the same between the two. Her health-care plan is a failed plan in Canada and England. Why would you jump right on that horse... wouldn%26#039;t it make more sense to ease into it? Obama%26#039;s approach is much more sensible. AMAZING... why don%26#039;t you mention her not releasing her tax returns?? Is she hiding something? Hmmm... a Clinton in some kind of scandal! NO WAY! Her vote for the war...hmmm? Was she just a victim, poor Hillary. Health-care plan that makes you pay and if you can%26#039;t afford it you get a fine? Like they have in Mass? Mention her manipulating her strategy and attitude to fit the polls! I%26#039;m not going to vote for that chameleon... Obama came from nothing and the man is running for prez, love the fact that the Clinton Machine is having trouble with it. Obama 08!|||Well I%26#039;m Not from N.Y. and I ALSO AGREE WITH YOU VOTE HILLARY 2008|||Billary has what it takes to take this country to HELL !!!
Most Texans are smart enough to vote for ANYONE BUT CLINTON !!!|||Wow...I have to say as a former New Yorker, I do not feel that Hillary has made a large impact on the state, as as matter of fact, in stead of increasing jobs as promised, more people became unemployed. I am part of Sen. Obama%26#039;s Campaign and much of what his supporters on here have said is pretty much accurate as far as health care and the pullout in Iraq. I would like to mention this, Sen. Clinton is a well respected politician and has an accomplished record, which soon we should be able to see in full when she releases it. The one thing that I would like to add is that we are now in a more modern world and I do believe we need a more modern President. I believe that restoring diplomatic relations, will restore dignity back to our country when in recent years we have become a mockery. As far as the economic reform, I disagree that it will be reminiscent of gas wars and high unemployment. Focusing on the infrastructure in the US is long over due and I believe the people of New Orleans would agree. Infrastructure reform alone would create hundreds of thousands of jobs. But back to Sen. Clinton, her and Sen. Obama do have very similar platforms, but if Sen. Clinton could answer one question straight to the point and not talk in circles on one of the dire issues facing the US right now, it would be refreshing. Something I would like to add is the factory jobs lost in NY state may have came under the Bush Administration, but it is a direct result of NAFTA that was passed under the Clinton Administration. Unemployment is high all over the country, especially in the NE and MId-States, but Sen. Clinton did support the NAFTA proposal her hhusband put forth. As far as Iraq, yes Americans wanted justice and were hurt, I lost friends and family in 9/11, but seeking justice and on on false pretenses invading a country where the person we are looking for is not there are two different things. People may argue that hindsight may play a role, but I would also have to disagree on that. You have intel telling you that the person responsible for 9/11 is in Afghanistan and we decide to invade Iraq. Now as a regular citizen that just does not add up to me now and did not when it was voted on then. I not only lost family members in 9/11 but have lost a brother in Iraq. I said earlier in my answer that Sen. Clinton is a respected politician and she is. However, the comment %26quot;the Clinton%26#039;s being in office%26quot; is disturbing. We have been that route and gas prices were great but there is a lot of things that were not so great. We need a new set of eyes in the White House, the Clintons and the Bush families have had control for 2 decades, its time for a change.|||Yes but when she finally shows her tax report , she%26#039;ll have to give it back.
New York please keep her!!!|||What about the risk of having a habitual liar in office?---%26gt;Hill
What about the risk of letting a scho/bipolar person run the country?----%26gt;Hill
