Credit cards are easy to get. TOO easy if you ask me. You can apply online, call the company, or apply through your bank. BE CAREFUL though because they will give you a card and a maximum limit and it is so easy to just start spending. I have a friend who racked up credit cards when she was 17 and 18 and she barely, barely paid them off (she is 27). They are not your friends. Look into a debit card, usually tied to a line of credit tied to a checking account. You will have the credit card symbol on the card and use it just like a CC. But since the money is in the bank you are withdrawing like a check. If you overdraw then there is a little money to back you up that you easily pay back.
